Centurion Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust (“REIT”) owns more than 11,000 multi-family apartment units and student housing beds across 28 cities in Canada and the United States. Since day one, our goal has been to provide Residents and their families with clean, safe, and comfortable homes. The REIT provides investors an opportunity to invest in a diversified portfolio of rental apartments and student housing properties, as well as mortgage and equity investments in property developments, across Canada and the United States and participate in the profits derived from them. Centurion Financial Trust (“CFiT”) is an income and growth-oriented trust that invests in a diversified portfolio of debt investments that include but are not limited to mortgages, opportunistic real estate developments, and corporate debt. Investors pool their funds to invest in mortgage and growth-oriented credit opportunities and participate in the yields from interest income and net profit from equity.

Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, the Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for assisting with the creation and implementation of all corporate communication activities for Centurion Asset Management Inc. and its affiliated group of companies.
The Marketing Communications Specialist is accountable for assisting with the successful coordination of all marketing communications resources, contracts, tools and supplies for Centurion entities according to established standards and within established budgets.
Develop and foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a liaison between Centurion and its partners and suppliers. Ensure that a high level of client satisfaction is achieved through consistent attention to Centurion's Vision, Mission and Values.
Assist with the management of all day-to-day external company communications, reinforcing the corporate brand, products and services, ensuring that they align with corporate values and mission statements. Support the Vice President of Marketing with the creation of an external PR strategy, as well as ongoing reputation management. Assist with the implementation of a social listening strategy, monitoring and reporting on all activity pertaining to Centurion and its affiliated brands. Assist with the timely delivery of eblasts and company newsletters for various stakeholders across the organization, preparing announcements and releases. Research and identify applicable awards that Centurion could apply for, working closely with department leaders to generate award submissions. Assist with the development and implementation of targeted online communications strategies, ensuring effective distribution of communications to intended audiences. Assist with the preparation of internal company communications as required, supporting other departments with the creation of internal communications. Ensure that discretion is consistently exercised in all correspondence, handing all information with the utmost level of confidentiality. Complete other tasks and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Industry and Product Knowledge
Conduct ongoing research into best practices, maintaining a constant awareness of the competitive environment for similar products. Ensure that the Vice President of Marketing and other department leaders are provided with the most current, favourable view of Centurion’s products and its competitive value and proposition.
Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure that all compliance procedures and regulatory requirements are followed with respect to the communications process. Ensure that all communications are reviewed and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer prior to distribution to external parties.
